June Ipsy Bag Review

Hey guys! I'm here with my first review of the Ipsy Bag. I have been receiving Ipsy bags for over 2 years now and it is my favorite subscription service. I was signed up for Birch Box for about a year but I didn't like the products most of the time. With Ipsy, there's at least 2 things per bag that I like and would use.

Don't know what Ipsy is? Ipsy is a monthly subscription box that sends you 4-5 deluxe size samples in a cute clutch/makeup bag. They are $10 a month, which I think is a great price for some of the stuff you get. You can sign up month to month or pay for a year subscription. If you sign up for the month to month you can cancel your subscription whenever you want.

Let's get started and see what's inside my bag this month!

Ipsy send your bag in a pink envelope which is really neat!

The bag for June is black with a pineapple design all over it. Not my favorite bag that I have received but it is pretty cute. I will probably be taking this bag on vacation with me.

The best part about this bag is that it was created for Ipsy by Rebecca Minkoff. I've been interested in her bags but have never purchased one so this is pretty awesome!

The first item I received is Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray. It says it creates sexy, tousled beach waves. Just spray it into damp or dry hair and scrunch your hair to get the wavy look you want. I am pretty excited to try this out. The only thing I don't like about this is that it smells like coconut and I'm not a big fan of the coconut smell.

Next is a mascara by Be a Bombshell cosmetics. It is a black mascara. I believe the color is Lash Out, or maybe that's the name of the mascara I'm not sure.

The wand is pretty big so I think this will make some pretty voluminous lashes.

I also received a eyebrow pencil by OFRA. It is in the color Universal. When you sign up for Ipsy you take a survey and also give them the details about your hair and eye color so that they can match colors of your products to you the best that they can. This will definitely match the color of my eyebrows. I have never used an eyebrow pencil before because my eyebrows are pretty full on their own. But I have been wanting to try one for the past few months so I'm excited to give this a try and see what it does.

I was really excited to receive the NYX butter gloss. I did a review on these lip glosses a couple weeks ago and have decided that they are my new favorite lip gloss! They aren't sticky and go on smoothly.

I received the color Creme Brûlée which I do already own. But I figured this could go in my purse or be a back up for when my other one runs out.

The last item I received is this Realtree perfume sample. It's a decent size sample and the packaging is pretty simple but it's cute. It smells nice but it's not a scent I would normally wear. It almost has that older lady scent to it (You know what I'm talking about, the perfume your grandmother wears.)

That's everything! Overall I'd give this bag a 3/5. I am excited about 3 of the products, the wavy hair product, the lip gloss and the brown pencil. The other 2 I like but I'm not ecstatic about.

I hope you enjoyed this review! I will be doing these monthly when I receive my bags.
