Makeup Tutorial: Everyday Neutral Look

Hey there! Being a mom to 2 toddlers can make it hard to get ready some days. You'll find me in a pair of yoga pants, hair in a messy bun, and no makeup a few days a week. But when I get the chance to do my hair and makeup I will. I'm a girly girl and enjoy dressing up and looking nice. I am by no means a makeup artist but I do my makeup the way that I know how to and I enjoy the way it looks.

Let's get started! First thing I do everyday, regardless if I'm wearing makeup or not, is to clean my face and put moisturizer on. Currently I am using Oil of Olay Moisturizer and I'm really liking it! It doesn't leave my face feeling greasy and I feel fresh afterwards. Bonus: It has 15 SPF in it, which is great !

After that I start with Revlon CC cream as a base to help even out the redness in my face. I apply this with my fingers all over my face. Next I am using my Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in 110 Ivory. I use my E.l.f. powder brush to buffer it in. With any foundation I use, I put it on the back of my hand, use the brush to dot it all over my face and then blend it in with circular motions all over my face and neck. Next, I use my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind dark circles eraser. I put this under my eyes and lightly dab it in with my ring finger. For concealing the rest of my face I use Maybelline Fit Me concealer. Once I'm done with foundations and concealers I set my foundation and make it matte with my Revlon Nearly Naked powder in fair. I use my Real Techniques powder brush.

After my face is concealed and ready to go I move onto my bronzer and blush. Today I went with E.l.f. Healthy Glow Bronzer in Sun Kissed. This is one of my favorite bronzer's and I have re purchased this many times. It gives a nice "Sun Kissed" (as the title states) look. I put this on under my cheekbones, at my temples, down the sides of my nose and on my jaw line with the Real Techniques blush brush. It has a tapered end which I think helps with getting that sculpted look with bronzer. For my blush today I used NYX Angel with my Mary Kay blush brush. I put this just on my cheek bones sweeping upwards towards my hairline.

For my eyes, I started with Maybelline Color Tattoo in barely Branded to prime my eyelids and as a base color. I use the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette when I want a natural everyday look. I used Foxy on my brown bone as a subtle highlighter. Venus went all over my eye lid and i used Faint in the outer corner. I used my brushes that I received in previous Ipsy Glam Bags. I'm still trying to perfect my liquid liner, so in the mean time I normally just use a pencil liner. This one is by Maybelline and it is my all time favorite. It stays on all day and doesn't smudge. For my eyelashes, I curled them with my curling wand and used Maybelline One by One Volume mascara in brownish black. I normally use blackest black but they were sold out when I bought this and I was impatient to try it so I settled for this shade and I'm liking it! I put two coats of mascara on my top lashes and 1 coat on the bottom lashes.

Excuse the eyebrows, they are in serious need of some pampering!

Most days I wear just some chap stick or my Nivea Lip butter in Smooth Kiss. Today I wanted a bit of color so I wore Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure. This stuff is so pretty! It gives your lips a nice color stain along with a glossy finish. Very pretty!

That's it! I usually set my makeup with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and I'm good to go. Thanks for reading!
