Hey there and welcome to my blog! My name is Becca and I am a stay at home mom to 3 beautiful, fun loving boys. Their ages are 6, 4, and 1. I am happily married to my husband and we will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary this November.
My husband and I met out in Colorado, where I grew up. He was in the military and stationed out there when we met. We started out as friends and began dating about 5 months later. He deployed to Iraq for 1 year after we had been together for 4 months. It was very rough but I knew that if we could make it through a deployment, we could make it through anything.
He proposed to me in April of 2009. He still had 5 months left on his deployment, he returned from Iraq in August of 2009 and we got married out in Pennsylvania ( where he grew up) in November 2009.
5 months after we were married we got pregnant with our first son and he was born in December 2010. Unfortunately, when Bryan turned 6 months old my husband had to deploy again for another year, this time to Afghanistan.
The year he was deployed in Afghanistan was very hard. Taking care of a baby on my own while working full time and worrying constantly about my husbands safety. May 2012 he returned safely back into our arms and it was the biggest relief in the world knowing that was his last deployment as he was getting out of the Army the following year.
It didn't take long after he returned that we found out we were expecting our second child. Our youngest son was born May 2013.
August 2013 we moved out to Pennsylvania once my husband was out of the Army. I agreed to move out here to be closer to his family since I had lived in Colorado most of my life and was ready for a change.
In October 2015, we found out we were excepting our third little one. This was our final try to have a girl ( I desperately wanted a girl). Found out in February that it was another little boy and honestly I couldn't be happier. I love having all boys! Sure, part of me still wishes I had a girl sometimes but I wouldn't change the way things worked out.
Thanks for joining me on this journey of my life!
