Erin Condren Life Planner 2014/2015 Unboxing and First Impression

Hey guys! Sorry for being MIA this week, I've been feeling under the weather since last Saturday. But I'm finally feeling better and ready to get back into the swing of things! I have something very exciting to share with you all today. It is my 2014/2015 Erin Condren Life Planner. I ordered my planner the day they released the new ones, June 12th, and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

I first heard about Erin Condren planners in March from Organized Jen and was obsessed from the get go. I thought about buying one back in March but decided to wait until the end of the year so I could get a full years worth of use out of it. Little did I know that they released there new planners in June and you had the option of getting a 18 month planner that started in July.

So with a little bargaining and persuading my husband I jumped on their website the morning of the 12th and ordered my first Erin Condren Planner. I was so excited! I joined facebook groups with other members who were obsessed with her planners and looked through a lot of pinterest posts about how to organize your planner. The three weeks I waited for my planner to get to me were long but it was well worth the wait!

Along with life planners, Erin Condren offers teacher planners, address books, notebooks, and a plethora of accessories. I purchased the planner and 2 notepads to go in the back of the planner.

When I first opened my box, this is what I saw. It is a catalog with a $15 off gift card inside, 3 stickers, and a sample of the personalized gift tags.

I thought this was a nice bonus gift! These will come in handy for birthdays and holidays.

Underneath all of that is the planner and my notebooks wrapped very nicely in bubble wrap. It also had a pretty mint tissue paper wrapped around it. It's nice when a company takes good care of the packaging, you can tell that they really care for their customers.

The notebooks come with 2 personalized notebooks. They have little adhesives on the back so you can attach them to the back cover of your planner. I plan on using these for my grocery lists.

I chose the Sea Life print in Sea foam. I love it! It turned out just how I wanted it to. They have a lot of covers to chose from and one of their changes to the planners this year is that the covers are interchangeable. So you can purchase as many as you want and change them as your mood changes. I didn't purchase any other covers because I have a feeling I will stick with this one. They offer so many pretty covers!

When you open up the planner it has a spot for you to put your information on the back of the cover. I probably won't write anything here but I've heard other people saying they stuck on of the personalized gift labels on the spot.

This is what they monthly views look like. They each have a nice quote on the top of the page. On the right side of the page it has a spot for notes. I'm putting my blogging goals for the month in that spot.

I think this is my favorite part of the planner. It's the weekly views. They have the days separated into morning, days and nights. on the left side of the weekly view it says goals and notes. I am putting my to do list for the week and items I need to buy on that side.

On the bottom of the weekly views there is some room to add more notes. This can be used for meal planning, exercise, to do lists, etc. I will be using mine for meal planning and exercise.

After all of the month and weekly pages it comes with a note section. There's some lined paper with a cute little design on the corner. I wanted to turn these pages into my weekly cleaning schedule, blog schedule, etc.

There is also some unlined pages, each with a different design at the top of the page. I'm not sure yet what I will use these for but they are very pretty!

Next is a bunch of re-positionable stickers. The first page is all birthday stickers. So you can stick them on your monthly view for birthdays or your weekly. Or if you have enough you can put one on each!

The next page of stickers is an assortment. There are some for games, dentist appts, doctor appts and more. I like these however some of them I probably wont use.

Then you get two pages of plan stickers so you can write whatever you want on them! I love the colors of these stickers and I plan on using them all!

Next is the keep it together folder. This is nice and looks very sturdy.

Inside of the folder they give you a Forget me not perpetual calendar. I read that last year they had these inside the pages of the planner and decided to make it in a removable book so you can transfer it each year to your new planner instead of re writing everyone's birthdays. I thought that was a pretty neat idea.

Here's an inside look of the perpetual calendar. It has each month on a different page and then it's numbered with the days in the month.

This is my other favorite part of the planner. I love this clear pouch that's in the back. There were some more personalized labels in here that match my planner.

I'm beyond excited to try out this planner. I always buy planners and never stick to them but I have a feeling I will stick to this one. It's too pretty not to use! I will be including my weekly views in my Friday wrap-up posts starting next week!

If your interested in purchasing an Erin Condren planner you can use my referral link  to get $10 off your first order! I used someones referral code to order mine and it definitely helped getting that $10 off since these planners are a bit on the pricey side. So far I'd say they are worth every penny though!

Thanks for reading and Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone has a great holiday and gets to spend it with their families and friends!

XOXO

*I purchased everything that is in this post. Erin Condren did not sponsor me or ask me to write this review. All opinions are my own. My referral link will give me a credit if you click on it, thanks!*

  1. Nice! I always think about getting a planner but never do. I'm afraid I just wont use one since I put nearly everything on my phone calendar.I might have to re-think that because this looks fantastic.
