How to Turn a Scarf into a Summer Shrug

I love wearing scarves in the winter time. They are a great way to dress up an outfit plus they help keep you warm! I always have a difficult time trying to figure out how to wear my scarves in the summer time. I don't want to get too hot but I love the colors and patterns on scarves. I figured out a way to tie up your scarf so that you can wear it as a nice shrug over a tank top.

5 Reasons why Target is so Addicting

Ever wondered what it is that makes Target so addicting? I mean really, why are a good majority of us so addicted to Target? It's seriously a problem! I can't get enough of Target. If I could buy the whole store, I probably would! (Except my Husband wouldn't allow that, what a party pooper.) I decided to make a list of the 5 reasons why I think Target is addicting. Here it is!

Tasty Tuesdays: Taco Ring

Hey guys! I'm back today with another Tasty Tuesday post. Today's recipe is one of my favorites! My family and I are big fans of tacos. But sometimes it's nice to make your taco's a little differently to add variety. I found this recipe for a taco ring in a Pampered Chef recipe book and have changed it a little to make it more my own and what my family likes.

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 taco seasoning mix
2 packages of crescents
cheese
sour cream
lettuce
tomatoes

Review: NYX Baked Blush and NYX Illuminator

Happy Friday Lovelies! I'm here this Friday with another review/ first impressions of some more NYX products. I love NYX products. They are affordable and most of their products are very good quality. I recently purchased these items at Ulta. The great thing about buying drugstore products at Ulta is that they always have sales on them. This was buy one get one 50% off.

Weekly Wrap-up: Toddler Lunches, Online shopping, and Potty Training

Hey guys! We had a pretty uneventful week. I wanted to stay home as much as possible this week to get my 3 year old fully potty trained. He's doing good! We did have an incident yesterday however that I'd like to share.

Gross Child Story of the day

WARNING: Don't read this next part if your sitting down getting ready to eat your delicious salad for lunch (mmmm salad sounds good, I think I'll have one for my lunch today) , it involves toddler poop, you have been warned!

Potty training has been going great! From the peeing to pooping in the potty. He has had a few accidents here and there but for the most part he's doing great and I couldn't be prouder!

Yesterday afternoon, Bryan was playing behind my chair. He walks, or should I say waddled, up to me holding his butt.

Bryan: "Mommy, I pooped!"
Me: "You pooped? In your underwear?!"
Bryan: "Yeah!" Mind you, this whole time he has this grin on his face like he's extremely proud of what he just did.

Tasty Tuesdays: Sausage Rotel Casserole

I would consider myself a picky eater. My husband loves to make fun of of me for it all of the time. I don't eat much with cheese , which eliminates a lot of meals for me to eat and make. Usually if i'm making a meal with cheese in it, I will make some of it without cheese for myself and the rest with cheese for my boys. I'm slowly coming out of my shell and trying more foods, who knew vegetables were so good?!

Weekly Wrap-Up: A night out for mommy and daddy

I want to start doing some sort of weekly wrap up. Where I will post pictures from through out my week of what my family and I did. I will put these up normally on Sunday's to end out the week. Last week wasn't too interesting of a week. My husband had to work a pretty good amount of overtime so it was just me and my boys most of the day just playing and watching movies. It's been extremely cold here in Pennsylvania so we I didn't want to go out too much and have to bring the kids out in the cold. My mother in law taught me how to sow and my first project was this Superman cape for my 3 year old. He loves it! Out of nowhere about a month ago he became obsessed with superheros, especially Superman.
