The Jaclyn Hill Palette by Morphe Review

Happy Monday everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend! We didn't do too much this weekend, which was fine with me. My husband worked both days so the boys and I just relaxed, did some cleaning and some playing.

Have you ever had your mind made up on a purchase weeks before it released? Ive done it with several things and the Jaclyn Hill Palette was no exception. I was sold once I heard about it. And wanted it even more once she released a picture of the colors. It looked so pretty and I loved the mix of colors she was incorporating in her palette.

So the day it was released, I got onto Morphe's website and waiting patiently for it to show up. As soon as it was time I added the palette to my cart and waited for probably 15 minutes before the website let me check out because it was so backed up from everyone buying this palette.

I was so excited once I got the conformation that my palette was ordered and it would ship soon! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! I was very impressed with how fast this palette shipped and arrived at my house. It took less then 1 week from the day I ordered it.

And this palette didn't disappoint. I opened that beauty up and just stared. The colors were so vibrant and even more beautiful in person. I swatched a few of them and they were incredibly creamy. I have been using this palette for a few weeks now and I've come up with so many different eye looks with it already.

(Colors from left to right : Enlight, Beam, Silk Creme, M.F.E.O., Faint, Sissy, Little Lady)

(Colors from left to right: Creamsicle, Butter, Pooter, Pukey, Hunts, Firework, Queen)

(Colors from left to right: Obsessed, S.B.N., Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz, Buns, Cranapple)

(Colors from left to right: Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 24/7, Chip, Mocha)

(Colors from left to right: Pool Party, Jada, Diva, Enchanted, Central Park, Soda Pop, Abyss)

The colors are very blendible and the color pay off is fantastic! I use Urban Decay eye primer and the colors stick so nicely to my eyelids. They last all day and stay just as vibrant in color from the morning all the way until bed time.

Because of all of the eye shadow color options in this palette, this is perfect for anyone. If you like neutral colors, there are plenty! If you like bright colors, it's got those too! From shimmers to mattes, this palette does not disappoint.

I think what I love most is that this palette was only $38 and I think I love it more then some of my other high end palettes that cost me $50 +. I have no complaints about this palette and I hope I don't have any in the future.

Thank you for reading!
XOXO
Becca

  1. Not really keen on it. It's pretty but I've seen the colours in other morphe palettes
